The Carving of the Jack 0 Lanterns, 2008

Tonight we finally carved our pumpkins!!!

You just can't avoid having a good time when you stick your hand inside and feel the eewey gewey innards of the pumpkin. It's such a distinct sensation, that it immediately causes one to recollect all prior carving experiences.
What great family traditions and memories we are creating here!!

Here are the finished products.
Luke's is on the left, it's a vampire....oooh ahh ahh ahh!
Emry's is on the right, it's a scary pumpkin....boo!

HAPPY HAUNTING!

Scary pumpkins! We have to carve ours tonight or tomorrow-Halloween is almost here! Love Emry's cheerleader outfit. Seems strange they are wearing short sleeves-it's SO cold here!

Adia's class carved pumpkins yesterday at school (daring with 26 four-year-olds). The teacher told me Adia was the ONLY one who dove in pulling guts. Ha! That a girl!

Fun times! Great job carving. Looks like Emery is a cheerleader cheering on the carving.

We are craving pumpkins tonight. I must admit - it is not my favorite thing to do. Neither is making sugar cookies. I am leaving that job to you if you guys come for new Years. You did awesome last year!!
