Easter 2009

We found out this last week that our kids don't believe in the Easter Bunny. We've never really talked the Easter Bunny up, but were still surprised when our kids just weren't concerned about the Bunny. No one spoiled the bunny for them, they're just simply nonbelievers. They knew we had the goods! We got a pretty good kick out of that.

We had our Easter festivities on Saturday with our friends the Mathews (James, Jenny, Dillon, Charlie & Annabelle). They came over to our house and we dyed eggs with the kids. Everyone had a good time and the eggs turned out awesome!

While we waited for the eggs to dry, the boys got a little crazy. The started riding the skateboards and trike down this big hill. They rode all the way down to the x, thru the trees. I thought they were all going to wreck big time, but they didn't.
The Egg Hunt
We had all the kids wait inside while Trent and James hid all the eggs the kids had decorated. They were very excited and the hunt was over quickly! It was pandemonium!

Even Carley got into it. She was so excited about the 1 egg she found. It was a very proud moment for her. She didn't even bother looking for anymore, 1 was enough for her.

That looks really neat and organized Millie! It looks fun and that is so sweet that Carly was satisfied with her one egg! Cute!

Looks like tons of fun. At least your kids are non-believers. Nathan was just heart broken when I said something about I should have bought more than one kind of a certain candy at the store. He was like, "but mom, you're not the Easter bunny." And of course my hubby, who is a non-believer made me fess up that I was the Easter bunny! AAUGH! Awkward!

That is the most adorable picture of Carley (bending over with her basket). All the kids are so happy and obviously having fun! Good day.
