Rise and Shout the Cougars are out!
Trent took Luke & Emry down to the BYU vs. SDSU football game on Saturday. The kids had an early morning practice for the primary program today (it went off without a hitch) and Trent went shopping...can you guess what he purchased??? you got it, face paint.
The kids were very excited to have their hair and faces painted. Emry made it the first 20 minutes of the game and wanted to come home. Trent had to bribe her with ice cream and drinks. After she got the goods, she calmed down and made it through the rest of the game. They had fun cheering and clapping when everyone else got up. A few times Luke got carried away and started cheering for SDSU...we'll have to work on that.
It was a great game. BYU came out on top, 38-28.....Go Cougs!

SO COOL! I don't think you will ever see a picture like that coming from our house.
We're a little confused. Our whole family cheers for Boise State, but really only Annika and I are BYU fans. I have "I (heart) BYU" on my van just in case there is any confusion where my loyalty is :)
Very fun! The only time my kids think we can wear face paint is at Halloween! They are going to love seeing this picture!

Did they actually drive to the stadium looking like that?? (Cue Trent rolling his eyes in disgust at me even asking that.) I bet they'll never forget that afternoon. I'll watch Carley for you next time... :)

Oh to live close enough to be at the game in person is like a dream. Plus what a bonus that he took 2 of the kids! That is Shawns goal is to have season tickets for the whole family.
