Rhonda

I'm not going to sugar coat this day.  It wasn't one of the best we've had, nor was it the worst we've had, but it wasn't a good one either.  We were all tired and nit picky and annoyed and in generally bad moods.  We should not have stopped in Rhonda on our way home from Granada.  It would have been better if we'd just gone home.  What we saw of Rhonda was nice, but it deserves a complete do over.

The drive in was pretty.  We saw so many olive groves they seemed endless.   We didn't make it too far into the town.  We saw some gorgeous vistas, the bull ring, the roman bridge and the inside of a restaurant that sealed the nail in our coffin today....and decided to call it a day, that's all I'm gonna say.

We made it to the bull ring, which is the oldest in Spain.  It was fun and the kids' first time in one.  The attached museum was a nice addition to the tour!

I really loved the tiles on the steps to the upper levels of the bull ring.  Such a classy touch!

Next time we'll see the old town, the neolithic cave paintings, the other 2 bridges and maybe even hike down the ravine.
