It happened one dark stormy night.....not really, the scene was actually my kitchen and it was a classic case of "WHO DONE IT". Followed by a round of straight faced denials! BUT, lucky for me the perpetrator left his or her mark. One, single, solitary bite mark...about the size of a certain someones tooth. (notice I did not say teeth) With the thief nabbed and thrown in the slammer (aka crib), the only thing left for me to do is mourn the loss of my most beloved spatula. She and I have some serious history. Together since college, she was a most trusted, loyal, go to kind of gal. Even in a pinch, she was always there for me, and never let me down. Alas, all good things must come to an end, this I know. Case Closed.

You gotta keep the spatula. Memories between the two of you are just getten' kicked up a notch. Now in the future, every time you use that spatula to swipe up brownie mix or chessecake batter you'll see the one-tooth-hole-streak spiraling around the circumfrence of the bowl and your sweet, droolly, one tooth baby girl will come to mind! At least put it to rest in her keepsake box. You also have the option then of being able to pull it out during moments of much needed humiliation and bribery beat down time. Gotta keep that spatula, hope I'm not too late.
That was one sharp toother, whate a funny little storey!
Daphne totally loves this picture!
She thinks it is a popsicle. I haven't told her any different.
