JUST FOR THE HALIBUT. They are a good fight and good tastin' too. If you want the secret you have to come to southern California. I am trying to catch a thirteen pounder for the $100 halibut derby, but my largest halibut up to this point is about 5 #. I did hook up with a pretty sturdy one the other night, but I got a little too excited and lost it. Of course the derby is during my busiest rotation (ICU) making my trips to the surf short. Oh well, some day I will go to Alaska and catch a barn door (aka Alaskan halibut).

Millie- I LOVED reading your blog! This is the first time I have been on and it was so fun to get updated on how things are going for you!!! =) You tell stories great! You and Larissa have inspired me to start our blog. I'll let you know when it is up and running. We sure miss your family!!! That is such a great picture of Luke! I love seeing your kids, they are so grown up =).
Hey Trent! What time did you say we should be over for dinner? Are you grilling those monsters? Is it true that their eyes are all on one side? There is a new magazine out at the newstands called THE WISCONSIN FISHERMAN. I think I'll pick one up for you.
