My sister Maggie is visiting this week. We were able to hang out with her fiance, Bryan, and meet his children Jordan & Neenah. It was great getting to know them!!
Today we decided to go sledding. I have to say I was a little reluctant to go...it's been a very, very long time since I've gotten on a sled. The day was gorgeous and the temps were in the 30's so off we went. The hill was impressive, a real, genuine sledding hill! As we drove up my kids gasped with excitement. My poor California children have been deprived of the joys of winter. This was their first official sledding trip on a proper hill...and not grandma's backyard!!
We had a great time! Got plenty of face washes, had a few wipe outs, a few tears, lots of big smiles, but most of all loads and loads of laughter. Luke can't wait to go back.
