Shadow Shot Sunday #9

I've had a sick household this week so I haven't felt very interesting or inspired.  A few days ago, the sun was out for the whole day!  It was so wonderful.  It was still chilly, but we were able to be outside without jackets for a while...oh yeah!!

I tried to experiment with my kids making cool shadows on the sidewalk, but the moment was forced and we were all a bit crabby.  I only ended up taking 5 photos before we'd all had it.  I didn't get the desired photo I was going for, but I will revisit this because it could be cool...at least it is in my head!

The family shadows are wonderful, the togetherness of all a fine sight. In shadow, we cannot detect the inner moods and if conflict really exists. So the happy shadows (all 5 pics) stand by themselves as a family that waves together looks happy :)

your playful shadows belie the sickness of the week. I'm really liking the light in these shots. it's fabulous, and I guess that's what makes for some really great shadows! happy SSS, and I hope your family is feeling better fast.
