THANKS FOR VISITING ALI & HUGO, WE HOPE YOU COME AGAIN SOON!!!
The first few days we spent around the house doing laundry, unpacking boxes and trying to get me a little more settled in to my new diggs. Mid morning-early afternoon we spent outdoors soaking up sunshine and enjoying nature. Hugo & Emry were constantly picking fruit off the trees, and we had to get after them because what they picked was not always ripe! The leaves of an orange tree smell wonderful, so how could we blame them.

Here we are on one of our many walks in the grove of avocados that surround our house!
It's so fun to explore.

This gravel pile was a favorite stopping spot on our walks. I say was because it's not there anymore. So sad, but fun while it lasted.

Uncle Taylor came down to deliver Trent's 50 gallon fish tank and enjoy brunch with us.
He scored some french toast, his favorite!

We took Taylor on a tour of the grove and sent him home with some avocados. All the kids of course love Uncle Taylor, but especially Carley. She always goes to him even though she's generally shy around others, not him, never! She really loves Uncle Bugs!!

This is Hugo Baptista. aka, one cool cousin!
I love this shirt, if Luke was smaller I'd totally get him one!

Ali captured this shot of Emry and I think it's awesome.
She looks so beautiful, and the back light is just right.

Lizards, lizards everywhere. Hugo really liked all the lizards around our place.
We spied them soaking up some rays on the other side of the fence.
Ali was trying to get him to touch one, he was a little shy about it.
