Cousins have arrived!!! We've been waiting and waiting and waiting alllllllll summer long and now they're here! Seriously, the kids have been driving me insane. I'm lucky they have all learned how to use a calendar because otherwise I might have gone bananas!
Todd, Amyjoy & Co. arrived safe and sound after a very long journey from Boise, Idaho. The arrived last night and we let the kids run and play outside. We had a BBQ dinner and piled into the car to go check out Rota. We walked down by the ocean to the light house and then into town where we had ice cream. By the time we got back the kids were dead on their feet, so we tucked everyone into bed for a much needed sleep!
The following day, we headed to downtown El Puerto de Santa Maria to see the bull ring and castle. It was HOT! and I don't mean just a little uncomfortable. I mean HOT...like African desert HOT! But we pushed on and the kids did as best as could be expected.

The second of many, many, many ice cream stops! Decisions, decisions!
We stopped for a little break in the shade around the castle. I love this shot of all the cousins! Might even be my favorite from the whole vacation.
