baseball season

I don't know what to say about this years baseball season.  It was a complete bummer.  Luke's team was rotten apples.  It was coach pitch and our coach couldn't pitch.  Poor Luke was sad.  He and one other boy were the only decent players on their team.  We've never been on a team with so many absolute beginners before, it was difficult to keep up Luke's morale.  Then to top things off, the league didn't keep score.  At the end of the game, when Luke knew we'd gotten walked on, they'd announce it as a tie........it was lousy, kids know when they're being fed a line.  It doesn't feel good to loose, but it feels even worse to "tie" when it's undeserved.  It was a learning process this year and Luke was a trooper.  Poor guy.
