This is Emry, if you look closely at her mouth you'll see that she's in the middle of enjoying a carrot. She didn't really appreciate me trying to make her laugh while her mouth was full, but hey, what can I say...sure turned out cute!

This was last Sunday am, before church. Trent caught Emry being a really great big sister. She took it upon herself to get herself and Carley dressed...........without being asked!

This week Luke & Emry have been going on "hikes". They decided one morning that they wanted an adventure (ps, Carley and I weren't invited to go along). So we packed sandwiches, apples, water bottles and various snacks into their backpacks. They each took a notebook and pencils to draw pictures of their adventures, and off they went into the grove. The first day they were gone for an hour and 15 minutes. I started to wonder about their whereabouts when I found them in the back yard sitting in the shade of the bamboo tree enjoying their lunches...it was one of those pat yourself on the back mom, b/c look how your kids are turning out moments for me. I loved it! The best part is that this happened 2 more times last week!

I couldn't resist these next two shots. I'm not sure what happened to Carley while she slept the night before, but this is what I was greeted with early one morning last week.

Luke is growing up so fast. He's just not my little boy any longer.
He's becoming a young man in front of me and it's awesome to watch.
He really is a great guy who tries to do good and be good and make others happy.

A family at church had to get rid of their trampoline b/c of their home owner's insurance and luckily we were there to snatch it up! The kids are totally loving it. We haven't gotten a cage for it yet. I'm hoping Trent is able to get one while we're away on our road trip the next few weeks.

Well that pretty much sums up what we've been up to. It's not all that we've been up to, but I thought I'd spare you the humdrum of daily life....you know the cooking, cleaning and constant laundry that we do around our house ALL THE TIME!!!
