On our final morning in London, we headed down to the tower bridge area to see the infamous tower of London. We really liked what we saw. I wish we could have stayed longer, but it was super hot (which is abnormal of England at this time of year) and the kids were miserable. We only made it though the yeoman/beef eaters first two stops. I'd love to go back someday and hear more.
Finally, the very last thing we did before heading back to the airport was visit Platform 9 3/4! You can't go into the actual station without a ticket, so they've put this little spot up just outside.

This was neat. This hall has a replica of each kings horse and armor. some of it was the real deal. amazing to have such history preserved. |

This was the kids' favorite part. Who wouldn't love a dragon made from armor??? |

If you look at the ceiling, you can see the holes that were used to poor hot liquids down onto enemies!!! |

The moat was filled in during the cholera outbreaks. It took a while to convince the king that this was necessary. Since then it's been used as practice grounds for various troops. |
The End
