We got up early and set off for Pompeii...again. We took our time and wandered the streets. It felt good to be there again and especially to take my kids and parents. My dad was like a small child taking pictures of every rock and brick with a smile a mile wide on his face.
I was just amazed on this return trip of the sophistication of the society here. The Romans were so advanced I can't help but wonder what it must have been like to walk down these streets during the hustle and bustle of busy season.
