Our Latest Beach Excursion

We went to the beach to hang out with friends and to fish of course. We decided to get a babysitter for Carley so that we could play with Luke and Emry....and so that I could take my camera. Here are some of our favorite shots from the evening.

I love the spectrum of colors (light to dark) in this one and the clear differences between dry sand, wet sand and ocean. These next few are just precious! I can't believe they did this for me and I captured it! Schweet! I didn't plan for them to be in coordinating swimsuits, but it ended up working out so perfectly.

Millie,
The pictures are so beautiful! The beach is so awesome!
I noticed on the weather thing that it is 82 degrees there??! Wow! That would be nice after our 100 degree weather!

Love the pictures Millie. Beach shots are always some of my favorites. The ones of the kids...well those are lifetime keepers. Sooo cute-on many levels. Congrats on some awesome keeper photos.

Those are really sweet pictures. I love the beach at Camp Pendleton. We camped there all the time when I was a kid which was long before people realized how cool San Diego is..meaning it wasn't nearly so crowded. We used to play in the water and on the shore all day and then bundle up at night, even in the summer time. I hope your kids have fond memories of such a beautiful piece of God's creation.

The picture of Lucas and Emry sitting together is so beautiful. I wish you could help me with photography and give me some tips. If there are any good pictures on my blog, it was not because I took them. Ephraim takes the good pictures. I am not sure why the camera does not like me. I feel real sad about it, but I am happy there are people who are good at it. Thank you. It is fun to look at these pictures. So beautiful.
