London, Day 2

First things first...we hit Portobello Road to check out the street market and give the kids a chance to enjoy a bit of history.

Carley picked out a necklace with a jeweled butterfly.  It broke 2 minutes after we bought it...lessons learned

Lemonade Break

Sticky Toffee Pudding Break

After we'd had our fill of shopping and wondering and crowds we got back on the tube and headed over to Westminster to see the sights.  We couldn't resist another photo booth experience, I mean really, who can resist???

Big Ben

The kids just sat and stared for a while.  After the trip, Luke said seeing Big Ben was his favorite part.

St James Park

Buckingham Palace

The National Gallery

Finally, we took a ride on the infamous Double Decker Red Buses!  We ended at Tooting Station, which as you can imagine the kids found extremely hilarious.

Whew! I thought you missed the white cliffs! We were there a few years ago---so beautiful! Who was the fancy photographer who took the phone booth pic of you and Trent? Pretty awesome. Luke must be a pretty cool kid if his favorite part was seeing Big Ben vs. some kids his age would have said eating at McDonalds or something. Nice you were able to go to London and miss the Jubilee and the Olympic traffic.

The Cronicles of Tapa...the cat.

OK Cat lovers of the world explain this....we're going on vacation and wanted to board our cat, but they wouldn't take her unles...
